Department of Contemporary Russian Literature at the Institute of East Slavonic Philology of University of Białystok and Department of Philological Research „East – West” at the Institute of Polish Philology of University of Białystok are honoured to invite you to participate in International Scientific Conference MUSLIM EAST IN EASTERN AND SOUTHERN SLAVIC LITERATURE.

The conference will be held from 17 to 18 November 2017 in Białystok (POLAND).

We are glad to invite literary scholars – specialists in Eastern and Southern Slavic philology,comparative studies specialists, oriental studies researchers, historians and representatives of other fields of the humanities and social sciences who are interested in the issues related to the Muslim world and its recognition in the culture of the South and Eastern Slavs. The languages of the conference are: English, Polish, Eastern and Southern Slavic languages.
